Raj Chelvaraj, a Hindu by birth got saved at the age of 17 while he was still pursuing his career in Lawn Tennis. He started his journey in cross-cultural Missions almost immediately with Youth With A Mission. He has served with the University of the Nations /YWAM India vision for 17 years. He has been involved since the beginnings of the University of Nations Vision in Pune, India.

UofN, Pune / Lonavala, has been a central location to equip, mobilize and raise up many leaders who are now serving within India and abroad. Apart from serving in various leadership roles both within the UofN and in YWAM India, Raj pioneered the Biblical worldview core course (HISCC) course from YWAM Switzerland in 1998. He worked closely with the Pioneer & Founder of UofN / YWAM India to help implement the Vision of UofN in Pune / Lonavala. Raj also assisted in the Vision of the building project for number of years and was the co-leader in the purchase of a Million-dollar facility (UofN / YWAM Campus, Lonavala) in the year 2003.

Raj is not only experienced in Cross-cultural missions but also a gifted strategic thinker, implementer and motivational speaker. He has been teaching both within India and abroad. He is passionate about leadership and building people for the kingdom. Raj & Brenda along with their daughter Zoe continue to serve in India.
